Project Description
.Net interface to simplify searching the online Entrez online databases, including PubMed and PubMed Central.

"Entrez is the integrated, text-based search and retrieval system used at NCBI for the major databases, including PubMed, Nucleotide and Protein Sequences, Protein Structures, Complete Genomes, Taxonomy, and others. Click on the graphic below for a more detailed view of Entrez integration." - quote taken from the NCBI website: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Database/index.html

This project was started and is currently maintained solely by the Washington University School of Medicine Pediatrics’ Department Development Team. This project is meant to provide an easy to use .Net interface to the Entrez eUtilites web service. We are very interested in collaborating with other universities, medical facilities and anyone interested in using the Entrez online services. These services are used for many purposes and has proven to be a great resource for our clinical and research doctors. We hope to help others overcome they challenges we faced when building applications to use the Entrez services. We are also hoping to spur a new movement between development teams that support academic, clinical, and research professionals in this and other areas of interest.

If you are interested in helping or finding out more about our vision please make a post on the discussion tab or visit our website for additional contact information: http://peds.wustl.edu.
